"Blessed is he that readeth, and they that hear the words of this prophecy, and keep those things which are written therein: for the time is at hand." Rev: 1-3
The books of the Bible were written at different times by different authors over a period of approximately 1,500 years from around 1400BC through 90AD. The Old Testament was written in Biblical Hebrew excluding the Books written during `the Chaldean captivity` such as Daniel and Ezra which were written in `Biblical Aramaic` during the `Chaldean captivity`. Many of the Books of the Old Testament bear the names of the Prophets who authored them. Moses compiled the earlier parts of Genesis and directly authored the remaining portion. David wrote much of Psalms ...
Due to certain irreconcilable differences two Scottish men, one being Catholic and the other being atheist, decide to fight a duel to the death. However, duels are against the law, so they have to find a secret place for that occasion. Searching for such place they must avoid authorities, and also numerous kinds of people who all try to convince them to give up on a duel, leading to many comic adventures.
The three bold adventurers raced north towards Last Chance Mountain. Scotty and Verily Fisher followed close behind Inyo the territorial angel of Death Valley. They were in a tight V formation like the Air Force Thunderbirds.
The ultra-terrain vehicles danced over dunes and rolling hills. They dodged around sagebrush and house-sized boulders. The voice-activated intercoms in each machine came to life as they reached a high hill that climbed up to their destination.
"We won't be picking up any hitch hikers today," warned Inyo in the guise of a cowboy. "The only spirits you'll see wondering around here are demons that were cast out of some body. They wander these desert places, until they find more of their kind and then try to go back to the body that they were kicked out of.
They're just dirty squatters with no legal right to do anything. But that doesn't stop them from trying. See, there's one now down by that dry lake bed. Ha ha. Come on."
The demon watched the three dust clouds. ...

This eBook has been formatted to the highest digital standards and adjusted for readability on all devices. The Elementary Forms of Religious Life analyses religion as a social phenomenon. Durkheim attributes the development of religion to the emotional security attained through communal living. His study of totemic societies in Australia led to a conclusion that the animal or plant that each clan worshipped as a sacred power was in fact that society itself. According to Durkheim, early humans associated such feelings not only with one another, but as well with objects in their environment. This, Durkheim believed, led to the ascription of human sentiments and superhuman powers to these objects, in turn leading to totemism.
The Last Testament to the Verity of the Apocalypse
There are a variety of reasons why people reject established religions, but for those who declare religion to be either bigoted or irrational, what they are actually rejecting is a degenerate re-interpretation of the original Word. The true Word is perfectly rational.
047.018 Await they aught but the hour that it should come upon them unawares and the portents thereof have already come? But how, when it be upon them, can they benefit from their admonition?
And many today would argue that the portents have already come. In the Qur'an, the resurrection of the dead and the day of judgement are themes reiterated repeatedly as a matter of urgency to warn and inculcate the reader. The day of judgement is referred to by various means over 150 times. The Qur'an is by far the most apocalyptic of the Abrahamic books and the final testament to the verity of the apocalypse.
Believers have described the Qur'an as the purest expression of the ...
Mind and Bodyby William Walker Atkinson(GIANLUCA) Price verified 3 hours ago
From the Foreword: 'Mind and Body -- Mental States and Physical Conditions! To the mind of those who have contented themselves with merely the superficial aspects of things, these two things -- mind and body; and mental states and physical conditions -- seem to be as far apart as the two poles; seem to be opposites and contradictories impossible of reconciliation. But to those who have penetrated beneath the surface of things, these two apparent opposites are seen to be so closely related and inter-related -- so blended and mingled together in manifestation -- that it is practically impossible to scientifically determine where the one leaves off and the other begins.'
Beloved friend two question to you, is it possible to understand end time prophecies if you do not view them through the eyes of Yeshua as to understand His intended meaning? Further, can you insist that your interpretation of prophecies supersedes that of Yeshua's?
If you answer to both questions is no, then you will find what is revealed to you in this book is simply earth-shattering and you will never interpret the Bible in the same way again!

Lives of the Necromancers; or, An Account of the Most Eminent Persons in Successive Ages, who have Claimed for themselves, or to whom has been imputed by others, the Exercise of Magical Power was the final book written by English author William Godwin. The book concerns paranormal legends from western and middle-eastern history.
"The true story of witchcraft in old Connecticut has never been told. It has been hidden in the ancient records and in manuscripts in private collections, and those most conversant with the facts have not made them known, for one reason or another. It is herein written from authoritative sources, and should prove of interest and value as a present-day interpretation of that strange delusion, which for a half century darkened the lives of the forefathers and foremothers of the colonial days."
The maze concept serves as a fitting metaphor for the complex puzzle known as Life. Mazes are nonlinear, presenting many twists and turns. Mazes are puzzling and confusing - indeed, that is the point of their design. There are many dead ends to overcome. Mazes can foster frustration when the exit remains out of view. There is a way to solve the puzzle, but the solution is not immediately clear. It's not meant to be easy. Does any of this strike a chord? Life is but a maze. The same grace which saves our souls is the same grace which brings every other blessing of God into our lives. This amazing grace doesn't stop at the church altar. Rather, it meets us in the Maze of daily living and earthly struggle. Consider this book as your map through the Maze!
Successful or not. Rich or poor. People use plenty of terms to determine and define happiness -- but is it really joy they're seeking?
Author Toks Adebiyi shares examples from his time in both Nigeria and the United Kingdom in the inspirational memoir Joyful. Like many others, Toks got caught up in the push for wealth and popularity and dreamed of becoming the next Richard Branson or Robert Kiyosaki. But when events in his life brought him back down to earth, he began to redefine what joy meant to him.
Here, Toks shares what he found, laying out a path for others to follow in advice-filled chapters such as "Loving Yourself" and "Mind Your Environment." All throughout, he includes action points to aid others in their own pursuit of joy.
Joyful is specifically targeted at young readers and families. This lighthearted, easy-to-read guide will help you find what matters most in your life -- and what you really need to find inner peace.
*Western Short Story!
Without warning, along came a stranger strolling down the red dirt road. The prairie pilgrim carried in his hands just a Bible and a Bowie knife. He was not known by the ruthless men and women of the gang. They were perched on the edge of a cliff like a covey of ravenous vultures.
The thirteen thieves glanced at their grim leader for a judgment. He took one look at the weary vagabond and shook his head. The humble man obviously had nothing of value... except his soul. Therefore, he was worthless to them or anybody else in this world.
"Kill him quietly and then dispose of the body before the caravan comes through here," the leader boldly ordered without a second thought.
"With pleasure," said the first bloodthirsty thief who was a murderous midwife nicknamed Little Tera.
The others silently drew out their knives and swords. The human vultures moved as one onto the road. The simple stranger stopped in his tracks. He did not fear the thieves... for he had nothing ...

The boy decides to accept this process as part of his right of passage toward manhood. During my Sophomore year of High School, I find out my father molested my oldest sister. I know had a decision to make in my mind. Do I continue down a path that is contrary to my developing beliefs or stay the course no matter what or why? If I chose to take the path I started on but would run counter to a very strong dictatorial cult like family atmosphere. How does one break away? What tools would I use? The tools included the Bible and Military Code of Ethics. This transformation would be very difficult and try as loneliness was a constant companion. I love my father and wanted to ...

She removed her glasses looking at them sadly, "If he doesn't start shaping up, we will need to take more restrictive actions as he is causing a disruption amongst the other students. And suspending him so often hinders his learning."
"He started it!" The little boy piped up angrily, "I was only defending myself, why am I the only one to get punished!?"
"He will be dealt with George." The principal looked at the boy, his rumpled shirt, haphazard hat and ruffled hair,
"Never as badly as I am though." He grumbles slouching in the chair unhappily,
"George." Mrs. Esh looked at him, "Sit up straight, and we will discuss this when you get home."

"The young cattleman had seen more than once the tragedies of the range. He had heard the bark of guns and had looked down on quiet dead men but a minute before full of lusty life. But these had been victims of warfare in the open, usually of sudden passions that had flared and struck. This was different. It was murder, deliberate, cold-blooded, atrocious. The man had been tied up, made helpless, and done to death without mercy. There was a note of the abnormal, of the unhuman, about the affair. Whoever had killed James Cunningham deserved the extreme penalty of the law."

This present volume is for critically discerning believers who want their apostolic writings to be understandable through a new, honest, satisfactorily revealing, functionally literal translation of the more conservative Majority Greek Text, the choice of which will be fully explained within. This new translation is also coupled together with a more limited canon which has been revisited to determine the true apostolicity of the documents we have. Instead of asking what books have been left out of the Bible, we should ask what books do not belong in the Bible. This translation also incorporates the latest results of the newly applied Shuffled Manuscript Theory. In utilizing this theory this book effectively re-presents in English for the first time in almost two millennia one dozen of the ...
These were two lectures delivered during the so-called "Christmas Conference for Teachers" in October 1920. The anthroposophical movement represented a whole new paradigm; thus it had to create its own, new artistic style. Form should be organic, like the nut and it shell. Everything should be engaged in a Goethean metamorphosis, as we see for example in the capitals. Not the historical Goethe should inspire us, but rather Goethe as it exists in the present day. The walls should be transparent, leading our gaze to the spiritual realms beyond. In an extended discussion of the paintings in the cupolas, Steiner declares that color must be primary, and line secondary.
Revival is a bona fide phenomenon writ large on the pages of church history. There are countless works in which revivals are recounted from a biblically informed historical and devotional perspective. These treatments take for granted that God is involved in revivals and can be generally divided into two camps. The first views revival as a surprising work of God in pouring out the Holy Spirit on the church. The second views revival no less as an outpouring of the Spirit upon the church, but goes on to posit that there are certain measures that man can take to trigger such an outpouring. There is also a critical school of thought which has sought to explain revivals from psychological and sociological perspectives. These latter treatments of the subject tend to discount any supernatural involvement in revivals. The present writer is in full sympathy with those who view revival as the result of divine activity.
Despite the differences between the first two camps mentioned, and although ...
Almost everyone reads horoscopes in newspapers and magazines. Even people who would never admit to having the slightest interest in astrology will take a little peek when there is nobody around, just in case.
The signs of the zodiac are familiar, and everyone can say what sun sign they were born under, or at least what sun sign they think they were born under.
Astrology as a subject is vast. It is far to big a task to attempt the meaning of astrology as a whole in a small work like this.
So it is the authors intention to delve into some of the meanings of astrology, and to try to strip away at least some of the mystique that prevails within the subject.
We will explore the meanings of sun signs, houses, planets and the zodiac. We will also look at how astrology can and indeed does affect our daily lives, regardless of our being aware of it or not.
It is my hope that you will enjoy this visit into the fascinating world of astrology meanings.

"The subject of imposture is always an interesting one; and impostors in one shape or another are likely to flourish as long as human nature remains what it is; and society shows itself ready to be gulled. The histories of famous cases of imposture in this book have been grouped together to show that the art has been practised in many forms -- impersonators; pretenders; swindlers; and humbugs of all kinds; those who have masqueraded in order to acquire wealth; position; or fame; and those who have done so merely for the love of the art. So numerous are instances; indeed; that the book cannot profess to exhaust a theme which might easily fill a dozen volumes; its purpose is simply to collect and record a number of the best known instances." -Preface
To make it possible for a man to be as honest in his religion as he would like to be in his business; to make him as unafraid in church as he aims to be anywhere else, and to help make him as impatient of a lie on Sunday as he is on any other day of the week, is the object of these studies on the Bible. In this book Mangasarian presents numerous evidences which prove that the Bible is not an authentic book but a compilation of older myths and legends.
In this exciting book we discover a new method to understanding the gospel and an added dynamic to our walk with the Messiah and our teaching ability. This is not a book promoting a works based salvation as salvation only comes by God's grace.
However, when we give the gospel message to others we automatically give scriptures and quote stories from the New Testament. But what if we didn't have a New testament to give the gospel from? The first believers never had a NT, all they had was the Law (Torah) and Jewish tradition and interpretations of the Torah to see them through.
This book examines some of those issues and guides us into the ability to preach the gospel message in a fresh but at the same time, old and original way. What did gentile believers first hear regarding the gospel without a NT? This book answers that question and many more and includes a personal study section at the back to allow you to find and answer these questions yourself to help reach others and deepen our ...

People often say:
"My God would never do that!"
This makes me shudder, for I know those people who say this often do not know the Bible and they are viewing God from their own thinking, or by images created by tradition of men or by their own church groups, rather than by searching for the truth in examples in the Bible of what God actually did in these areas.
What is our rule book?
In golf or tennis we go by the rules of the game which are printed in rule books.
In spiritual matters, we must also refer to a rule book, and that is the New Testament Bible for the church today.
The Bible is our only valid rule for today's church. Each of us have the responsibility for spiritual truth. We cannot depend on another human but must refer to the Bible, especially to the New Testament Bible, for truth.
For many churches today have established their doctrines on that which humans think rather than on that which God shows us in the Word of God, the Holy Bible.
And many churches are set ...

Isaiah 55... For ye shall go out with joy, and be led forth with peace:
I went through several days of trial and struggle with our little church group as they spoke vain religious puffed up nonsense.
I rebuked them sharply and temporarily they sobered up.
Grief came upon me as I thought of them. I would awaken in the mornings and be so sad, like some terrible thing was about to befall me.
I cried out to God for help as I had been crying out to God for help all through the struggle with our church group.
I had no joy. It was all gone.
I prayed for God to restore my joy, somehow.
Then I was reminded of Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego. (Dan. 3)
I was writing something at the time. I went to Daniel 3 to quote what they pronounced and I became so very joyful when I heard their words again, for I've read this many time.
I realized my joy comes from that which these truly godly people say... Esther, Abraham, David...
FOCUS ON THEM.
Let them be my friends. Joy will go through ...

Seeking God's Heart: Devotions For Women, Volume One
God Loves Us! This most fundamental truth is one we often miss. Oh, we know it in our head. God loves us. Yes, we know that, so we move on to deeper theology. More insight into God's Word. We tackle the deep truths of the Old Testament, the Apostle's letters, and the Gospels. We seek new truths, more insight into how to live and our purpose as God's children. We want to serve Him. We want to live upright, Spirit-filled, sacrificial lives for His Glory. And yet something holds us back. But what? If we have Jesus Christ within our hearts, why don't we live like it? Why is it so hard? Didn't He die to set us free? So why do we seem to remain in bondage? Why are our lives so busy, stressful, fearful, and unfulfilling? Can we truly experience complete joy, peace, and holiness this side of Heaven? Or are we left to merely endure life on Earth until the Day of Glory comes?
Seeking God's Heart is a devotional study that focuses on one ...
"And now, in Jerusalem, the final stage was being set for the "great and last sacrifice" (Alma 34:14) of the Son of God for the sins of all of God's children." "To this end was I born." (John 18:37) All hope, life, and mankind hinges on one momentous week: the last week of the Savior's mortal life. With characteristic clarity and insight, best-selling author and renowned gospel teacher David Ridges walks us through Christ's final days in mortality, reminding us that Easter is, above all, a celebration of God's love for us.
The Kingdom of Heaven streams as a river from the throne of the Father, and it follows the path He chooses. This holy river heals, cleanses, and sets free all it touches with its living waters.
This 366-day devotional was written one day at a time, for a year, with the author listening to her Father God as He poured His life out into her, so she could pour it out into others.
Drink of His waters, and let His life pour into you, and out into others, in an unending stream: Kingdom Streams.
Steiner begins with a consideration of rage and devotion in children. He concludes the first lecture by emphasizing the primacy of the anthroposophical study, even over clairvoyance. The second lecture is devoted to jealousy and mendacity, which are inspired by Lucifer and Ahriman. Mendacity leads in a subsequent incarnation to feebleness. Just as ancient humans look back to their common origin, we should now look forward to our ultimate goal, which will be a full understanding of Christianity. The third lecture reveals a number of important sequences of reincarnations: Alexander is a reincarnation of Gilgamesh, and Aristotle of Eabani. Hypatia reincarnates as Albertus Magnus. But we are also told that each incarnation of the great spirit is but the shadow of a hierarchical being behind it. Aristotle's theory of tragedy is a recollection of his earlier experiences in the Mysteries.
Creative Mind displays what each soul must discover for himself, that he stands in the midst of an eternal creative power which presses itself around his own thought, and casts back to him glorified all that he thinks. If it awakens within the consciousness of one single individual the realization that the mind of the Universal (which is the only mind that there is) is his own mind that the creative power of this mind is his also; that the manifestation of this mind is his own individuality; that the love and power and peace of this mind is within himself, it will not be written in vain. May it then do much in simplifying and bringing to light some of the deeper mysteries and meanings of life.
