Bricked (A Pat Riordan Story Book 1) by J. Michael McGee (Sugar Grove Press) 3.4 Stars (3 Reviews)    Price verified 13 minutes ago

A triumphant story of the spirit This is for anyone who thinks teaching's a cushy job, who thinks teachers are only in it for the money. Pat Riordan's in it for the kids. Can Pat Riordan put aside his own sense of loss to inspire his students to rise above theirs? Together with other school staff, Riordan works to bring structure and inspire hope, unraveling the troubles and trauma behind disruptive behaviors and learning delays. When their emotionally-responsive tactics are criticized by district leaders for being too gentle, the school is threatened with closure. Riordan builds a deep bond with his student Bobby. When the boy and his mother are abused by her boyfriend, will Riordan overcome his own troubles and risk all to help his student? Can Riordan prove that these young adults are worth investing in, despite troubled behaviors, in order to save the school from closure What others are saying about Bricked. A well-written book with all of the depth and sincerity needed to create a sense of cohesion and empathy between the narrative and the characters. A tough look at some harsh realities of the teaching profession, coming at a time when we need an infinite amount of respect and support for our teachers--this book sheds light and reality on that and furthers the discussion of how truly important teachers are to our society and culture at large and how much more support they deserve from us. I enjoyed how the author, J. Michael McGee, introduced his characters and wove in details and care throughout. McGee clearly has experience and passion for the work and that shows through in his writing creating a bridge of connection between author and readers. This book is a relatable one and the kind of triumphant story of the spirit that will never get old. As a teacher in mainstream education who has worked with a large number of disadvantaged and challenging children I was really drawn to this book. Pat Riordan is a teacher passionate about seeing the ...

The Crucible 2: Invisible World -A Witch in Salem 1692 (Second Edition) by Clark Wilkins 3.5 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 13 minutes ago

Salem 1692 - where marriages were arranged, love is of the devil, the jails packed, drunkenness the only entertainment, and smallpox passes through like the wind - was a place where women were allowed wicked thoughts but not to act on them and where men were forbidden wicked thoughts but allowed to act on them. It was a place pretending piety but swimming in sin. Using a scientific method known as "higher criticism" the evidence shows the story of "The Crucible" far exceeds that of Arthur Miller's play. The "Crucible 2" puts the story right. Written in novel form but footnoted for accuracy, discover the story of Abigail Williams, a young orphan girl doomed to servitude, who at age 10 is of legal age of consent and dreams of marrying a man of duty, love, honor, and fame - a love the Puritan Church denies her but she vows to have. Learn of Elizabeth Proctor, a sickly woman, fearful of dying in childbirth, who is cold and neglectful towards her husband, the only man in the colony of duty, love, honor, and fame. Unmask Samuel Parris as a reverend willing to hang his own congregation for money while fearing for his own soul. Watch as he discovers in the devil's book and Abigail Williams the key to all power. This is a web of deceit conceived and weaved by a man who didn't believe in witches at all, a man unable to make an honest living, who sought to preserve the failing Puritan Church that he might save his wealth and position by any means, including murder. He will unite all this wickedness and sin together in a paranormal tale of witchcraft, debauchery, fornication, false witness, hangings, a four year old girl going mad in prison chains, and even the whipping of a corpse in this, the devil's own romance. And, finally, there is Elizabeth's husband, a man of duty, love, honor, and fame, who had the misfortune in this community to be him.

Plumas de Muerte: Tequila Journals and Dreams by Phil Motel (PdM Publishing) 3.8 Stars (6 Reviews)    Price verified 13 minutes ago

Dream Diary The second part of Plumas de Muerte is as it says: a small collection of dreams: what goes on while we are asleep? A raw ride that makes no attempt to gloss over the darker side of the author's life at the time, while acting as a cautionary tale about the nightmare of substance abuse - and the final road of alcoholism/addiction.

Devils Island by Ron Hall 3.7 Stars (44 Reviews)    Price verified 13 minutes ago

Jacob frantically stumbled over the fallen log, crashing uncontrollably through the dense underbrush and falling to the ground. He scrambled quickly back up to his feet and began running again. Jacob had no idea where he was going, but he knew that he should run. He crashed through some more undergrowth and into a little less dense part of the forest. He spun, looking around. His heart felt as if it were trying to jump out of his chest. His mind was racing. Where had Rick gone? Was the thing following him? Was it following Rick? The two friends had just split up, hoping that at least one of them could get away. He turned and ran again, as he ran; he tried looking over his shoulder to see if that thing was after him. He saw no sign of it. Running through this jungle was tough and he kept stumbling and falling. He looked back again; nothing. He turned his head back just in time to dodge around a large tree, as he jumped to his left, he was knocked off balance with a vicious blow. He felt like he had been run over by a truck or a middle linebacker. He hit the ground hard and bounced once. He tried to regain his balance and scramble back to his feet but just as he began to rise he was knocked backward again by the heavy blow of a large hairy paw. Jacob did not even realize that blood was seeping out of his body in several places. The claws had opened his face and falling through the brush had opened several small wounds on his arms and legs. He tried to rise up to his feet again; his entire body was protesting the movement. He felt as if he were moving in slow motion. A cold blackness was beginning to overcome him as he saw the big paw with the razor sharp claws swinging down toward his face. The blackness now enveloped him, his last thought was: I hope Rick makes it out.

Work and Rest God's Way Family Guide: A Biblical Recipe for Finding Joy and Purpose in All You Do by Scott LaPierre (Charis Publishing) 4.8 Stars (9 Reviews)    Price verified 37 minutes ago

The Family Guide is the perfect complement to Work and Rest God's Way! The discipline to work can be challenging for all of us, but motivating children to work is especially difficult. As a father of eight, Pastor Scott knows what is needed. Let him help you teach your children what the Bible says about work. The Family Guide is the culmination of what has been successful for him and his wife, Katie. They have learned from families they respect, books they've read, videos they've watched, conferences they've attended, and -- most importantly -- trial and error. Inside you will find: • Four bonus chapters not found in Work and Rest God's Way, with accompanying workbook material • Questions to help each family member find the blessings God has for them in their labor • Application assignments for each chapter to help you utilize the material Christian family books are hard to find. If you're looking for Christian workbooks for adults or a Christian workbook for kids, look no further! Inside you will find a family workbook parents and kids can enjoy working through together. This is also a wonderful resource for group Bible studies. Whether you're a man or woman, young or old, parent or child, married or single, this guide will enable you to enjoy both work and rest as God intended. It's not a Bible verse: "Do your best," but this truth is communicated in Scripture. Ecclesiastes 9:10 says, "Whatever your hand finds to do, do it with your might," and Colossians 3:23-24 says, "Whatever you do, work heartily, as for the Lord and not for men." The Family Guide will help you do your best and learn what is the work of a Christian. Discover joy and purpose in all you do! Endorsed by prominent ministry leaders: • "God commands us to work. And God also commands us to rest. Scott LaPierre shows how the Bible discloses the sinfulness of laziness and 'idleness,' and he unpacks the contrary Biblical virtue of 'diligence.' But he also shows how our relationship to ...

Restoring the Biblical Christ: Is Jesus God? by Jason Kerrigan 4.5 Stars (17 Reviews)    Price verified 6 hours ago

Accurately defining the correlation of God and Jesus has been described in our modern day as "beyond the reason of man" and "unable to be explained." Such conclusions are not necessary, however, and when you finish this book you will see that the Biblical teaching concerning God and Jesus is actually very logical. There is one God, the Father. Jesus is the Son of God. Yet, that simple truth leaves many questions to be answered, like Why was Jesus worshipped? Why is the Word called God in John 1:1? What did Jesus mean when he said, "Before Abraham was, I am"? etc. What did the earliest Christians believe about Jesus? All of these questions and more are addressed here. One reviewer wrote: "What this book is not is mimetic and unthinking: it is just well-researched, well-cited, eloquently argued, and uncompromisingly Biblical in its orientation. Kerrigan goes where few tread, not for the sake of argument, but for the sake of truth. What you see time and time again is that the Biblical godhead teaching is plainer than what the theologians have been making it."

The Gospel of John: SCOT Kindle Edition by Thomas Bear Price verified 8 hours ago

This Kindle version is offered to help Christians evaluate the SCOT Gospel of John text and gain more detailed information (for evaluation purposes). It includes many critical notes. (Many of the Kindle edition notes would not be appropriate for a Gospel that is used for evangelism, so they do not appear in this paperback edition.) The Giant Print paperback edition (12 pt. font), was produced by Stones Cry Out Ministries to fill a special evangelism ministry need. For mass evangelism, smaller, cheaper gospels are probably better suited because of their low cost. But in some situations, a nicer, Giant Print gospel may be worth the extra cost. For people who seem to have a genuine desire to learn about God and His salvation plan, the SCOT Gospel of John, Giant Print edition is perfect. Not only does it include a solid version of the Gospel of John, it also includes a concise summary of the Bible's redemption message after the gospel concludes. If God the Father is drawing a person to Jesus, the SCOT Gospel of John provides all the truth necessary as he or she transitions from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. The SCOT Gospel of John is a translation from the original Greek Byzantine Textform, sometimes referred to as the Majority Greek Text. It is a precise translation of the original Greek text. It is translated directly from the original Greek text. It is not a revision of a previous English version, nor is it a paraphrase. The translation is more literal, word-for-word as opposed to the thought-for-thought approach utilized in many other versions today. In addition to its main purpose of helping Christians evaulate the SCOT Gospel of John text, the critical notes alone justify the purchase of this Kindle version of the Gospel of John.

First Love: The Love of a Good Woman, book 1 by Momi Robins (Momilani Enterprises) 4.0 Stars (7 Reviews)    Price verified 11 hours ago

First Love: The first book in "The Love of a Good Woman" Series If you just can't resist the drama of a love triangle... If you need a romance about love and family... If you believe in second chances... You'll love these sweet, provocative Christian romance novels, by Momi Robins. Paige is just a sweet girl; the girl next door from a small hometown on O'ahu, in Hawaii. Like all little girls, what she wanted was simple; she wanted to be loved and adored, happy and carefree. But at the ripe age of five, she already learned that life was nothing but, simple or carefree. While some girls dreamed of the beautiful wedding, the handsome and loving husband, the white-picket fence, two-point-five children, and God-ordained kind-of-love, Paige wanted nothing of the sort. Her parents' abusive relationship was motivation to avoid love at all costs. She vowed that she wouldn't become like her weak and submissive mother, who couldn't stand up for herself. She vowed she'd never take the risk of loving a man like her abusive father, who touted apologies and empty promises. From the day Lance, the new boy, stepped foot into her middle school classroom, his adoration for Paige was evident, but to everyone else except her. No matter how many obvious cues he dispatched over the years, she remained steadfast against love and romance, laser focused on her professional goals, refusing to acknowledge his advances. When one of her parent's many vicious fights leaves her mom, hospitalized, battered and bruised, Paige lets her guard down, allowing Jason's opportune advance, leaving her life's plans thwarted by one careless night on a white sandy beach, under a full moon. Paige is pushed on a path to a decade-long love triangle that causes her to doubt everything she'd ever believed. A traffic jam after a salon appointment to freeze fat cells from her thighs incites the reluctant trip down memory lane; inspiration to see her life through new lenses. Can Paige have a ...

Living In A High & Holy Place by Smith Wigglesworth by Michael Yeager Price verified 13 hours ago

Smith Wigglesworth was a man who walked in a Wonderful Place of Holiness and in the reality of Jesus Christ. Contained in this book are some of his personal and amazing insights to Living In A High & Holy Place! *God has given us authority over all the power of the devil. Oh, that we may live in the place where we realize this always, and that we are completely submitted to that authority! *God will always be gracious when we humble ourselves before Him and come to a place of brokenness of spirit.*The great thing is to get so immersed in God that we may see him manifest himself in signs and wonders in the name of the Lord Jesus; a place where death has taken place and we are not our own any longer, for God, has taken us. If God has taken hold of us we will be changed by His power and might. *The carnal mind will never be subjected to God, but God will bring it to the cross where it belongs, and will it be brought into a Holy place. A place that's pure, that's holy, that's meek of mind.

The Final Order: Proves Srila Prabhupada is ISKCON's Initiating Guru by Krishnakant (ISKCON Revival Movement) 4.5 Stars (17 Reviews)    Price verified 13 hours ago

THE BOOK THAT HAS THE GURUS ON THE RUN! "The Final Order by Krishnakant Desai has been perhaps the most influential post-1977 publication in the Vaisnava world." - HH Bhakti Vikasa Swami, ISKCON guru Who should initiate disciples in the Hare Krishna Movement? The spiritual purity and general prestige of the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON, or the Hare Krishna Movement) has undergone a serious meltdown since the physical departure on November 14th, 1977 of its pure and saintly founder, His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Srila Prabhupada. Most of the scandals that have rocked the Movement can be traced back to fairly blatant deviations from the instructions and pure standards given by Srila Prabhupada, the chief of which being his unauthorised displacement as the sole initiating (diksa) guru for ISKCON. This particular deviation was highlighted in 1996 in the first edition of The Final Order which was sent to all ISKCON's leaders in a bid to help solve the Movement's problems. No ISKCON leader could now credibly claim to be oblivious to the legal documents, personally signed by Srila Prabhupada, that clearly set out his intention to remain the sole initiating guru for the global spiritual movement he founded. It is these legal documents that constitute the core of The Final Order. Far from accepting the conclusions of The Final Order, ISKCON's Governing Body Commission (GBC) embarked on a systematic and sometimes brutal campaign of harassment, suppression and evasion. Surely it is no coincidence that most, if not all, of the members of the GBC are also initiating gurus? This book will help the reader get to grips with the plain facts underlying one of the most fascinating and serious religious controversies of the modern age. "The GBC should all be the instructor gurus. I am the initiator guru, and you should be the instructor guru by teaching what I am teaching and doing what I am doing." - Srila Prabhupada Letter to Madhudvisa, ...

Dear God, It's All Gone Horribly Wrong: Prayers for Stressed Christians by Anne Brooke (Anne Brooke Books) 4.6 Stars (3 Reviews)    Price verified 13 hours ago

Being a Christian in the modern world can be very stressful indeed. Everyone either thinks we're having a wonderful time with our marvellous, mysterious God, or they think we're fools for believing in a faith that surely died a death in the twentieth century... In both scenarios, the negative feelings, stress and depression frequently experienced by today's Christian tend to be ignored, not least by one's fellow Christians. However, in actual fact, God never discounts or ignores anyone. With this in mind, here are one hundred prayers which tell it like it is to God so that even the worst about us is brought out into the open. At the same time, the fact that God listens to all our prayers, no matter how angry, bitter or sad, is a beacon of hope for us all. May God travel with us more closely on our prayer journeys.

Four Biblical Ways to Overcome Deep Depression by James Thomas Lee Jr 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 18 hours ago

This text will present four different biblical ways that a person can battle and even overcome deep depression. In a world where there are so many ups and downs and so much uncertainty, it stands to reason that every individual will at least sometime experience times of deep depression. So the purpose of this text is to describe how some of the saints of God had handled their times of depression. In the pages that follow, the very depressing circumstances of twelve people will be discussed. Two men had had to wait for a very long time for something that each had really wanted. One man had had to face a possibly very angry brother. One woman had had to deal with the depressing circumstances of a very unhappy marriage. One man had had to deal with being mistreated by both family and government. Three men had had to deal with the depression that comes with having been unjustly put in prison. One of them had been completely innocent of all the charges. The other two had been guilty as charged. But their crimes had been totally ridiculous. One woman that will be discussed in this text had had to deal with her depression over having been unable to bear children. One man had had to deal with a king that had wanted him dead and that had even tried to kill him. Three young men which are being treated as one person for the purposes of this text had had to overcome the fear and the depression that are involved with having had a very bad conflict with a very powerful king. One man had had to deal with his very bad decision and the depression that had resulted during a moment of deep fear. One woman had had to deal with the depressing circumstance of having lost her husband. One man had had to deal with the very depressing circumstance of having been totally rejected by almost everyone. Thus, from all of those different situations that had been experienced by some of the saints of God, many of the causes of very deep depression will be discussed. Then, one or more of the four ...

Conspiracy Theories: Beneath The Radar The Denver International Airport by Cheryl Leonard 4.0 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 19 hours ago

For over two decades, The Denver International Airport has been the topic of numerous conspiracy theories surrounding its true purpose. The narrative has been shrouded in secrecy, with the basic belief presented that below the airport are underground bunkers and tunnels, for the New World Order of the elite population, to be used as their headquarters in an apocalyptic event. This book is an examination into these proposed theories concerning the history behind the airport, including necessity and funding, strange artwork murals, statues and sculptures, floor carvings, dedication marker and time capsule, symbolic runway designs, bunkers, and tunnels. The summary of the evidence will allow the reader to calculate their own conclusions and determine further research on this highly debated matter.

What you pretend not to know: The POWER of your inner voice (Therapy in Sessions Book 1) by Joanne Suarez 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 37 minutes ago

People like to wear masks all the time, and I'm not talking about the masks we're wearing now due to the pandemic. I'm talking about the masks we put on when we are interacting with others. We hide who we really are and we transform into a different person depending on the setting. We put on a mask when we meet relatives, we put on a mask at our work, and we put on a mask on when we are with friends (most of them). And the only time we are not wearing a mask is when we are alone. Not all of us do it in the same degree, and there are different reasons for doing it. But the most common is that we are afraid of being criticized and judged. So we look for acceptance in others and we conform. We are not sure of what our real selves will be like, so we become what we think will be liked more. If we are introverts, we change a bit to seem more extravert. If we are weird, we become more "normal" to fit in. We hide what makes us unique and authentic because we are not sure others will like it. And many times we are being rewarded for it. People seem to approve of this new, upgraded version of you, so you keep the small change. Then people expect you to behave like that, so you have to keep the facade. And then you add a bit more, and a bit more, until you are different enough to exhaust yourself by playing this role. I believe this is the main reason some people exhaust themselves in social settings. The mask needs energy to stay in place. This is not the same as being casual and carefree with friends, and more formal and careful at work settings. This is normal. In this book, you will learn how to hide part of your personality based on the premise of approval. Stop pretending to be someone you are not. It is ok to be yourself. The only one that needs to accept you is YOU! Peace & Love

Nile Union Academy: A Memoir by J.R. Adams Price verified 2 hours ago

On the far eastern side of Cairo is a neighborhood known as Gabal Asfar. Life in this area could be called traditional Egyptian. Minarets, date trees, and red brick buildings dot the hazy skyline. Tuk-tuks, donkeys, and dust move along the streets. Women dart from the markets in their hijabs. Men smoke shisha pipes and eat falafel at the local restaurants. Kids play ball in the littered streets. Yet, something is a bit different here. Nile Union Academy, a Christian boarding school, has stood since1954 in this largely Muslim area of Cairo. Beyond the white walls that surround the campus compound, life inside is a mosaic of Egyptian and Christian culture. Nile Union Academy, A Memoir, follows the adventure of Ryan, his wife Dawn, and their five-year-old daughter Eden as they traveled to Egypt to serve the Lord as missionaries. Coming from the United States, they imagined teaching at a school in Cairo to be far different than it actually was. None of the new missionaries were prepared for what the year would bring. Classroom management, student culture, and the day to day challenges were oftentimes shocking. Yet, day by day, they continued to grow in ability, adapting to the problems and creating solutions for the battles that kept arising. Yet, somewhere along the way, something big happened that shook up the school in a way that almost sent it into chaos. The resulting fallout challenged their marriage, and even made them wonder if they could endure until the end. At times, it seemed like everything was crashing down around them, and new hardships and challenges were constantly appearing. ?Nile Union Academy, A Memoir, takes you deep into the heart of modern Egypt, explores what it is like to teach in this vastly different world, and explores what it is like to live in a part of the world that many westerners never get the chance to experience. From the food, the sights and sounds, the bustling markets, and to the people themselves, this book goes in deep to ...

The Truth about Halloween by Dr E C Fulcher Jr 3.7 Stars (4 Reviews)    Price verified 13 minutes ago

I am surprised at how many so-called "Christians" do not know that witchcraft is of the devil. I thought that if there was any one thing that all ministers and churches believed alike on was that witches were of the devil. However, in recent months I have been made aware that many people who claim to be Christians or attend church do not know that witchcraft is evil. The Psychic Hot Line and all related garbage teach that these are gifts from God and He wants people to use these gifts. This encouraged me to teach on the subject and in this book I take a comprehensive look at Halloween. How did it get started? When did it come to America? Why do Christians believe that it's all right to participate when it is of the devil? All these questions and more will be addressed. If you care about God, you're going to want to read this book. It's a must have!

Breath By Breath by Lori O'Gara 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 2 hours ago

As Christians, there isn't a one-size-fits-all way to draw near to God. We humans must find our own individual way to the divine. While we serve God, our focus is on seeking to love God with a pure and deep love. If you are a spiritual person, you know what it means to hear a still small voice. He's falling hard for the new hire. The only problem is -- she's off limits. Life is full of new beginnings for Olivia Livingston: she's landed a job as an event planner for the brand-new Pine Ridge Resort, she's making new friends, and best of all -- no one knows that she secretly stands to inherit a sizable fortune. For the first time in her life, Olivia gets to live like a regular person, and she couldn't be happier about it. She has several ideas for the resort and can't wait to pitch them to her boss, Nolan McGrath. The only trouble is, every time she's around Nolan she becomes a flustered mess. It doesn't help that he's charismatic and incredibly handsome. The more Olivia tries to ignore her growing attraction for Nolan and focus on her job, the more miserably she seems to fail. Nolan McGrath loves the hospitality business. As manager of the new resort in town, he has a lot on his plate to get it staffed and ready for the grand opening. He doesn't have time for distracting thoughts about the new event planner -- especially since she's one of his employees. And yet, in spite of his best intentions to avoid Olivia, Nolan finds himself coming up with excuses to meet with her. The more he gets to know her, the harder he falls. But as her boss, his hands are tied when it comes to confessing his true feelings. As the unspoken attraction between Nolan and Olivia grows, so do the obstacles keeping them apart. Will their working relationship and the truth about her identity prove to be too much, or will love find a way to bring them together?

Simulation Secrets: Don't Be Afraid by Casper Stith 4.4 Stars (8 Reviews)    Price verified 10 hours ago

"Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a very persistent one." - Albert Einstein Do you ever feel like you're a player inside an incredibly difficult video game? A game where the rules are unclear, and the odds are stacked against you? A game where your actions have consequences, and where we often act as our own worst enemy? This is because our lives are taking place within a physical virtual-reality simulation. Since the beginning of time, mankind has been on a quest to understand the nature of reality and the true meaning of life. Albert Einstein spent the latter part of his life searching for this ultimate truth, only to fall short. The evidence is clear, and it is only a matter of time before mainstream science faces the fact that the current model of reality is outdated and patently false. In this book be prepared to learn: • How a bizarre experiment performed in the early 1900s - and replicated consistently ever since - clearly demonstrates that our 'physical' reality is indeed a virtual-reality simulation. • How we are interconnected in a digital, computed, multi-player virtual-reality 'game', which follows rules and has a clear and definitive purpose. • How consciousness is the computer running the simulation. We stumble through life without purpose, often as prisoners trapped within our own thoughts. Understanding that we are living inside a virtual-reality 'game' with a scientifically-based purpose provides the impetus for escaping the confines of 'the matrix'. How can we play the game if we don't even know we're in it? Keywords explored in the book: theory of everything, my big toe, entropy, virtual reality, the Sims, Nikola Tesla, Max Planck, Heisenberg, uncertainty, quantum mechanics, quantum physics, Shrodinger's cat, quantum tunneling, double slit experiment, fractals, game theory, chaos theory, tom Campbell, double slit experiment, consciousness, out of body, dreams, meditation, philosophy, simulation, virtual reality video ...

Life's Journey from Earth to Glory: Following Jesus to the Celestial City by Gene Easley 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 14 hours ago

Christ did not make becoming a Christian an easy choice. His words in Luke's Gospel send a message of dedication and consecration that requires total commitment to His cause. Christ said, "If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me" (Luke 9:23). The object of this book is to examine -- using Scripture -- what it means to follow Jesus. What dedication does He really require? How can one follow Him in a Christ-pleasing way? What type of example did Christ leave for us to follow? We will visit places on both sides of the road on this journey, that is, Scriptures from the Old Testament and the New. We cannot follow Jesus well if we are not familiar with the school master -- the Old Testament -- which God has given to bring us to Christ. But it is in the New Testament where we find Christ no longer as an object of prophecy, but as a living being that came to bring salvation to all who would believe. It is the New Testament believer who starts on a journey very unlike that of the Old Testament saints. It is a journey that demands everything we have. This book lists numerous places where we will follow Christ on this journey to the celestial city. Some of those are the Place of Prayer, the Place of Healing, the Place of Miracles, the Place of Pentecost, and so on. There are a total of twenty-one chapters that hopefully will challenge the reader to follow the Lord in this earthly journey to the heavenly city.
