In the pages that follow, a high-level study of two general views for interpreting the scriptures will be conducted. Those two views are Covenant Theology and Dispensationalism. Of the two, Dispensationalism seems to present the stronger case. That is because it uses a literal approach for understanding the end-time events while Covenant Theology uses a non-literal approach. Another view, called Replacement Theology, will also be considered along with the other two. But since the decision to interpret the relevant passages of scripture literally or non-literally is so important, six examples plus an even stronger rationale will be discussed to show that the end-time scripture passages will probably literally happen. Then five more examples plus an even better reason will be discussed to show that the Church will not literally go through the Tribulation or even any part of it. But while the Church in the Tribulation is a topic about which many people might be fascinated, the real conclusion presented in this text is that it is much more important to wholly give oneself unto the Lord and to earnestly serve Him. It is great fun and even somewhat profitable to try to figure out some of the more complicated theological issues. However, nothing is more important in this existence than living for the Lord and encouraging others to do the same. It has been said that ninety percent of all Christians in the world today have never led anyone to the Lord. Even worse is that ninety-five percent of those ninety percent have never even tried.
