Do you believe in ghosts and monsters? Sean Colton certainly does. Ghosts from people's pasts and the occasional hidden human monsters that walk by us everyday, that is! Sean, a mystery author, is visiting the historic town of York at the penultimate stop for his latest book signing tour. Things have been going smoothly, besides the odd bickering between his travel companions. Sean's publicist Maria and his childhood friend Lou. Then a grieving woman named Lyla approaches him with a tempting mystery of her own. It seems that her brother, Mason, was discovered dead in a local castle during his group's ghost hunt, just over a month ago. Whilst the police believe he committed suicide, as do some of Mason's colleagues, others believe his death was at the hands of a something much darker. A malevolent spirit! Before long Sean is dragged into hunting for spirits, butting heads with a local detective and realising some puzzles might be beyond his capabilities.
