A Bridge to ...? by James Huber 4.4 Stars (4 Reviews)    Price verified 6 hours ago

It is Wichita, Kansas, about 1966-1967. No one, except big companies, had computers or even knew what one was. Or did they?. Very few, if any, have computers. The closest most have come to one is the video games found in bars and rec centers. But what if some of the people who did have computers were able to create realistic fantasy worlds where the game player could actually go into the game in a physical way? Could it be done? How would it be done? There would be dangers and there would be the need for a life guard, of sorts. How detailed would the adventure games be due to the antiquity of the computers and programs. This is compared to ours today, of course. There could be, in fantasy, a group that had developed it and two men had stumbled on it. Now the question arises is why did they make these realistic games? Could it be money? Could it be fame? Could it be sinister. Only a few people know these answers.
