Watercolor Words by A.V. Zeppa (CreateSpace Publishing) Price verified 6 hours ago

Watercolor Words is a new concept in fiction with a unique connection to my previous and future books. The characters from my stories, "Miguel's Secret Journal," "Deep is the Heart," and "Confessions of Three Gay Boys," have written poetry and prose, and would like to share it with their readers. Miguel, Hunter, and Donovan have added their paintings to this book as reflections of the words written. This book is the first in a series of paintings, poetry, and prose from the perspective of my characters. A.V. Zeppa

Stary by Michael Sichok Price verified 7 hours ago

Nadya Illyushin spends her teenage days at Institution, like most young residents of Stary Sovok. Stary is a bleak colony of Russkaya Amerika, established several hundred years ago, after the Great Intercontinental War of 1983. Nadya's nights are spent caring for her widowed, State-employed father and enjoying the company of her sparkling younger sister, Saski. She has never known anything outside of the lackluster world of State-regulated life: an existence of overly restrictive regulation, meager survival, and dependency upon a bureaucracy, which is ever so callously referred to as "Betterment." That is, however, until she stumbles upon a mysterious place in the forest - that changes everything, about her past, present and future. Nadya uncovers a secret place of escape - an alternate, parallel reality, where truths are revealed and destinies changed in unpredictable ways. She soon learns that the price of change does not come easily, but once the constraints of rote Stary life have been stripped away, Nadya takes the first steps into realizing her own pivotal role in shaping the future, all while navigating the all-too-human process of self-discovery into adulthood. Previously available as individual acts: Nadeyat'sya, Neizbezhnyy and Natsionalist, Stary unites these beautiful, sensory and sensual works into one complete- and completely unforgettable, package. As Stary Trilogy, the groundbreaking, passionate YA series opened with the heartbreaking, mesmerizing tale of hope: Nadeyat'sya, then found its inevitability through the dark, sexy, tear-filled Neizbezhnyy, and then burned with the astonishing, explosive conclusion, Natsionalist. Powerful and sensory, Stary may appear at first glance as dystopian fiction, yet it literally cannot be pigeonholed under any one genre. It reads as a romantic, fictional memoir told in first-person by a very unique and identifiable eighteen-year-old girl, Nadya, in such an engaging fashion that reading and re-reading the book ...

Capture the World by R.K. Ryals 4.9 Stars (36 Reviews)    Price verified 9 hours ago

"They called me a breakdown waiting to happen. He didn't see a breakdown. He saw me." I see people. The way they travel through life like a blurred stream of light. I am one of them, these people, and we're all light blasting together from one place to another. We're all trying to be a part of the world, and yet not be a part of it. Like we're trying to ball the world up into our hands and hold onto it. That's me. Trying to capture it. The world. To keep it with me awhile before it goes away. My mom is a traveler, and she takes me with her everywhere. I am ashamed. I am proud. I want to catch her and make the world stop spinning. Maybe make it spin backwards, so that she is changed. The worst part is the fear I see when people look at me. As if I'm her. As if I'm going to be her. I'm not. But I wish I was. Because she doesn't see our world. She has her own, and it's beautiful. Her life. Her extraordinary world. My name is Reagan Lawson, a seventeen-year-old seasoned traveler without a passport. My life. My origami world. His name is Matthew Moretti. Senior basketball star, handsome, and as far from my complicated world as he can get, he surprises me with his interest, with the way he pulls me into a world I didn't want any part of. Until now. His life. His surprising world.

Dear Diary, I Have A Mate by Abbie Lynn (BLVNP Incorporated) 3.2 Stars (34 Reviews)    Price verified 9 hours ago

It's him, Diary. It's Tyson. I don't know what it is about him; well I guess I do know. It's everything about him. Everything he does makes me smile. It's him -- he makes me want to talk. Arrabella was used to being abused all her life at the hands of her own father. She never felt like she amounted to anything. But then there was Tyson. He had this effect on her, which was completely understandable with his beautiful light brown eyes and muscular physique. What was utterly baffling was why he returned her interest. They were much too different: He was so handsome and part of the in-crowd while her social circle only consisted of herself and her diary. Tyson was more than sure he wanted her. He knew she was the one meant for him -- his mate. He had waited so patiently for his destiny and now that he finally found her, he would do anything to make her wholly his. There was just a tiny glitch: she did not talk, and not to mention, they were of completely different worlds. Arrabella would soon be dragged way out of her comfort zone to the world of werewolves, packs, and mates. Will she be able to accept Tyson? Will Tyson help heal her? Will they brave the odds or will it be too much for their love to surpass? Witness two worlds collide and succumb to a force far greater than fear. Dear Diary I Have A Mate will entice you into a gripping journey of change, acceptance, and love. Give in to the pull. Grab your copy now! You know you want to.

It was the guilt that would draw them together. For in Hiccup, Mississippi, a decrepit house sat, the home feared by the locals, a group of ravens perching on the roof. Hawthorne & Heathcliff by R.K. Ryals 4.7 Stars (172 Reviews)    Price verified 9 hours ago

Two names that didn't belong to us. Two shoes that did. Intense and introspective, seventeen-year-old Hawthorne Macy knows all about being abandoned. She's felt the stark pain of being left behind by the people who are supposed to love her the most; her parents. Raised by her caring uncle on an old plantation, Hawthorne lives her life on the fringes of her small Southern town. Until she meets his shoe. Senior year, last period English class, and a pair of silent tennis shoes resting next to hers in the back of the room throws Hawthorne into a world she'd learned to stay outside of. His name is Max Vincent, but in her mind, he's Heathcliff. The handsome eighteen-year-old boy behind the shoes will pull Hawthorne into a passionate and unforgettable adventure of self-discovery during a time when love seems impossible. Shoes can tell a lot about a person. The journey they take you on can tell a lot about how they'll hold up.
