Our Christmas Promise by Carrie Ann Hope 5.0 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 53 minutes ago

What better way to wait for Daddy to get home on Christmas Eve than by telling your little girl how you and Daddy first made a special promise to each other? That's what Pat Powell figures, and, as she tells her daughter, it's the most romantic story she knows: of a Christmas 12 years ago, when she was struggling to find some Christmas spirit in spite of a demanding boss who seemed to think it was fun to test how much she'd put up with. Luckily, she had someone special to rely on, someone who came to her rescue when she was sure things couldn't get much worse. Someone who offered her a happily ever after.

They believe they have nothing in common besides never having seen that one movie they play on TV around Christmas. By the end of the movie they know better. Award-winning writer and filmmaker Adam Bertocci has been praised by Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, The New Republic, GQ, The Wall Street Journal, The Guardian, Back Stage, Broadway World, E!, Maxim, IGN, Wired, Film Threat and more. In this touching, unconventional mix of fiction and film appreciation, he both interprets and honors one of the great American cinema classics, while creating two character studies that converge to one friendship, one message, one heart. ----- Approx. 4600 words
