This is a new version of the book. All problems and mistakes are taken into account in it. Hello everyone! Honestly, I don't know how to describe this book, except as MIRACLE! You just have to read it! This is a story about a girl who helps her mother to clean the house. Her mother is asleep - she is tired. The girl washes the floor, stains the dust, cleans the kitchen, and prepares dinner. This is a simple story, but it teaches your child to be a little more independent and responsible. Since the book was written on behalf of a little girl, let her say a few words about her herself: "Hi, I am Rose, a green-eyed girl, My mommy Kylie names me a doll. I hug and kiss her, refine her being, With her together, I am a queen. Our kitten Leslie smiles underneath, She's our mascot, a sign of peace. " I would like to say a special thank you to the illustrator. Her talent and soul made this book incredibly beautiful!

The Word Of Light by Maryam Hamidi 4.8 Stars (6 Reviews)    Price verified 3 minutes ago

The Bible says from the beginning God created all things Good, Well he is Good so he can only create good things, more than that he created man in his own image and in his own likeness. The way he created everything was by his word, He spoke the (good)words, and (good)things came to be. Until we see sin entering this world. Where did sin and evil come from then? It couldn't come from him he is a good God and it can't come from inside of a man because man was created in God's image and he was Holy as God is Holy. So it came from the outside! It was a lie that's all that it was. just a lie!... And the lie was that we are not created in God's image and so we are not Good as he is Good. When that lie is believed evil enters the world. When a man speaks he creates just like God. So when a man speaks evil he creates evil. Why would he speak evil in the first place? From seeing and hearing something that is outside. All that man receives from the outside... An experience he has might get inside his thoughts and turn into a belief and based on that belief he starts speaking. That's where judgments come from. But who remembers the verse in the Bible that says God does not judge based on the appearances and the outside but the inside? who are you inside? Who are we all humans inside? Jesus the son of God! yes I believe that Jesus is who we truly are inside and he is the only true identity we all have no matter what background we come from what religion we have what family or country we are grown in we all have one identity and that is the son of the living God, We are all his Children made in his image Holy and blameless and that's the truth Jesus came to reveal to us.Now the moment we start judging one another based on our works or worldly gains or achievements is the moment we eat from the fruit of the knowledge of good and evil and at that very moment we die and produce sin. why should we know evil? Is God both good and evil or is he only good? As the book of Romans ...

Making The Axe Head Swim by Paul Johnston Sr. 5.0 Stars (3 Reviews)    Price verified 3 minutes ago

This is a more mature themed book than most of Mr. Johnston's earlier works and is not recommended by the author for young readers. Pastor Rick is a very inexperienced young man of God with only six months experience leading a congregation when a particularly dear lady in his church who is awaiting heart transplant surgery comes forward during altar call and buries her head into Pastor Rick's shoulder and cries inconsolably. He soon learns of a tragedy in her family. Her dear nephew, Xavier, is imprisoned on twenty-four counts of first degree murder. With his appeals all exhausted, Xavier is scheduled to die by execution in less than two weeks. This dear lady begs her young pastor to go visit her nephew. Although she does not condone his acts, she continues to love him greatly. She further tells her pastor that he has nobody in the whole world to care what happens to him other than her and in her failing health she cannot travel to see him before he dies. She begs her pastor to go to him and try to keep him from having an eternal hell since his life has been hell on earth. Not knowing what he will find when he gets to the prison, Pastor Rick is feeling pretty overwhelmed. Xavier is not at all the way he had pictured him having heard he was a monster. He finds instead a man with a conscience and a heart rending story. The reader will be moved by what you learn about Xavier and why he did what he did. Watch this young Pastor deal with the fears and questions of a man about to die for a horrific crime. Then learn some valuable life lessons and see how this criminal some regard as a monster actually helps this young man grow in his calling. The read is short, but worthwhile. Learn the lesson of the axe head, you'll be glad you did.

Call Us The Levitators by James Huber 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 10 minutes ago

Levitators by James Huber is a tale of science fiction mixed with the paranormal. Four people; four different parts of the world; the same time. Each one "witnesses" something strange. Something that suggests they have a power that allows them to levitate people. All four are questioned about their experiences, and are called to London to meet with a panel of paranormal experts to discuss their new-found powers. Involved in the meeting are a representative from Interpol and another from Mossad, but just what is their interest in these people, or, more specifically, their powers? Set loose, one of the subjects goes home with a tracker implanted in him, while the other three take a different route. A chain of events has been set in motion, one that could have far-reaching effects the world over as Interpol, the CIA, and Mossad agents clash with clerics. Will any of them survive this? Will their powers be used for evil or for good? Levitators was an interesting read. It had a little bit of everything in it - the paranormal and sci-fi angle mixed with terrorism, and the fight for good over evil. I found it to be a little stilted in places and a little long-winded in others, but it didn't spoil my enjoyment of the story. It was clearly a very well thought out story with a basis in current events and the plot was cleverly written. The character development was very well done, giving plenty of background on all the characters and they fitted in with the story. Overall, a good book and I would recommend it to anyone who wants something a little different to read. Bingoed (Essie Cobb Senior Sleuth Mysteries Book 1) by Patricia Rockwell (Cozy Cat Press) 4.1 Stars (88 Reviews)    Price verified 14 minutes ago

Why would spry senior Bob Weiderley suddenly fall into a coma after winning a game of Bingo? After all, he was the most physically fit of all the men at the Happy Haven Assisted Living Facility -- able to bend over to tie his own shoes and use the stairs rather than the elevator. It was just very suspicious. That's why Essie Cobb and her friends and fellow residents--Opal, Marjorie, and Fay--decided to investigate. Was it possible that someone was out to get the friendly old gentleman? Maybe it was Violet, Happy Haven's manager, trying to cover up her shady past. Or Sue, the activities director, whose behavior was strange to say the least. Maybe it was one of the three women who sat at Bob's regular table in the dining room. Or the mysterious man who had recently sent Bob a startling letter. Essie Cobb is determined to find out -- and she's not going to let her age (90), her weak bladder, or her various infirmities hold her back. Welcome to Happy Haven. If you thought most elderly residents of assisted living facilities spent their days sitting in the sun watching television, you haven't met senior sleuth Essie Cobb and her three detecting buddies. These four elderly ladies have curiosity and drive unusual for women in their 80's and 90's. They may not be able to get around as fast as youngsters in their 60's, or navigate the Interstate or Interweb (or whatever that computer thing is called), but they can solve a mystery. And they're starting with this one.

A Knock at the Door: Who is she? Who was she? by Peter Rowlands 4.4 Stars (218 Reviews)    Price verified 3 minutes ago

A brain-teasing mystery that grabs you right from the start - and then delivers A bedraggled woman turns up on Rory Cavenham's doorstep in the middle of a storm, convinced that the year is 1972, but claiming to have lost her memory. Despite his own troubled past, Rory is drawn to her; but she's fearful of authority and frightened of mysterious pursuers, and insists on keeping a low profile as she adjusts to modern life. Determined to help her, Rory finds links to two strong but compromised women, but the truth behind their interlocking stories remains elusive. Meanwhile, the pursuers turn out to be all too real, and the pace builds as the story lunges towards its remarkable and redemptive climax. Fast-moving and engrossing, A Knock at the Door defies easy categorisation. It is part mystery thriller, part detective story, and part romance. It even hovers on the edge of science fiction, though it always keeps both feet firmly on the ground. One beta reader reports "snatching at the pages" to find an explanation for the brain-teasing paradox at the heart of the novel: who is the woman, and how can she be the person she appears to be? Readers who have enjoyed Peter Rowlands' popular Mike Stanhope mysteries will be fascinated by this complex and intriguing tale. Like them, it is distinguished by vibrant characters and sparkling dialogue, but it also introduces some beguiling new ingredients that add extra edge to the mix. Plaudits for Peter Rowlands' mystery novels: "Different, colourful, imaginative and infectious. He draws you into a world where you're never quite sure what's happening or how it will end." "I've devoured his books with increasing respect... " "Rowlands' plots are unique, and as detailed and intricate as you will find anywhere... " "It really makes a difference when an author knows how to tell a story... I just went along for the ride, and it was a good one."

Animal: Notes from a Labyrinth by Alan FIshbone 5.0 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 3 minutes ago

This radically uninhibited book delves deeply into the muck and glory of life, tackling the enduring perplexities of love, art, identity, and our bondage to pleasure. At times exuberant and at other times dark and haunting, Fishbone's stories explore the twilight zone of New York's seedy bars and cocaine dens; they reveal the troubled soul of a German expressionist painter; they describe a latter-day "hunger artist" exorcising his own demon; they let us participate in a Venezuelan bacchanal; they confront the tangled lives of sex workers at the margins of society; and they link our contemporary political, social, and personal fixations with the desires, anxieties, and hang-ups of Romans like Catullus and Horace. A work both outrageous and wise, Animal relentlessly probes the human condition in all its wretched and glorious complexity.

He was wrong about all of it because she knows how to intimidate him. She understands what it takes to control him. This girl has the authority to make him do anything she wishes. He might be older and more mature and more successful, but this girl is in charge, and they both know it. Because he has learned his place, Daniel has also largely accepted this new dynamic in his life. He does whatever she says. He cooks and cleans at home. Maybe this was his apartment, but he has to do whatever she says. He wears whatever she wants, especially bras and panties, all because she enjoys dressing him up and reminding him of his new status. Only now, something is about to change, something he never expected. Daniel has met someone. Her name is Rachel, and she's amazing. She's beautiful and vivacious. Not only that, she actually asks him out on a date. More importantly, she won't take no for an answer! Daniel tries to dissuade her, but it's so difficult, especially because Rachel is smart and funny. He loves flirting with her. At the same time, he has no idea what she thinks about his outfits or the fact that he wears just a hint of makeup. It might not be obvious, but it's there. She must've noticed. Right? Daniel doesn't know, and he can't figure it out. This beautiful girl is a mystery. There's only one thing he can know for sure: he won't be able to go out without Caitlin's permission... *This 16,000-word story features extensive female domination, feminization, spanking, and humiliation. Sarah, a pragmatic mystic, finds her powers challenged by the spectral forces while engaging in a desperate ballet to shield her companions. Kodiak Krazy - A True Story: A Summer Chasing Money In Alaska by Pamela Joye Miller 4.4 Stars (16 Reviews)    Price verified 3 minutes ago

Pam's spur of the moment plan for making "big" money in Alaska on a fishing boat in the summer of 1986, ended up turning into an adventure that changed her life! She endured many hardships, hunger, and even did some bootlegging to get by. A true story she often told to her friends through the years, the quarantined time of the world wide 2020 pandemic prompted her to put it into a memoir, a quick, short read, and her very first publication. [Following is an official OnlineBookClub.org review of "Kodiak Krazy" by Pamela Joye Miller.] 4 out of 4 stars from https://forums.onlinebookclub.org/viewtopic.php?t=201943# Pamela Joye Miller's true-life story as old as three decades draws us into her time chasing what makes the world go round and the supposed key to happiness and success: money. Drowning in student debt while in college, the perfect opportunity to earn $20,000 over the summer landed at her feet in the form of a newspaper ad seemingly inviting her to Kodiak in Alaska to work for a fishery company. Despite not having any experience in Alaska or in that field, Pamela was determined to make that trip and eventually did, along with her boyfriend, Chris. Did she find what she was looking for? With respect to the previous question, I will only say that you have to pick up the enthralling adventure story that is Pamela Joye Miller's Kodiak Krazy to find out the answer. I thoroughly enjoyed following the author on her journey, and while her writing style was not overly technical, she had a unique way of drawing me in while she told her story in a conversational style. She also takes you on a tour of different amazing places she experienced in Alaska while including beautiful pictures that brought those experiences to life. She also educates us on a few things that readers will find fascinating about Kodiak, including Kodiak bears and the types of fish in Alaska. Pamela's story drives home several lessons that I found easy to connect with. Firstly, I got to ...

TotIs by J Joseph Kazden 4.1 Stars (29 Reviews)    Price verified 54 minutes ago

Einstein was not joking when he said "Reality is merely an illusion, albeit a persistent one." This Global Book Awards Gold Medal winner explores the nature of human perception and consciousness. This exploration delves into the process that gives us, as biology, an experience of reality, and explores whether this process creates, instead, a perfect illusion, beyond which reality itself remains hidden. ??? TotIs invites you to be a part of the discussion with Socrates and his friends as they consider the nature and process of human perception, the experience it provides us and its meaning for our view of reality and the universe we live in. Through the same learned question-and-answer technique perfected by Socrates in the era of Classical Greece, you are guided through the counterintuitive world of modern theoretical physics, exploring the crossroads of relativity, quantum theory, and the way that our experience, as observers of the universe, renders our reality an illusion. ??? For novices and experts alike, Author J. Joseph Kazden, with considerable finesse, presents his keen insights in a clear and comprehensible way. As entertaining as it is profound, TotIs illuminates a hidden truth about the unity of the universe that will have significant ramifications in areas ranging from philosophy to cosmology to spirituality--and beyond. ??? In a world where artificial intelligence has become an integral part of daily life, the sudden death of all AI sends society into a tailspin - a disconnected, surreal post-AI period known as The Deletion. As the world struggles to come to terms with the loss, bad boy genius, Peter Eriksson, has invented a new form of interconnection called MindSet to reconnect the world in this strange new time. Conceived from a century-old concept, "Crowd Wisdom," this revolutionary device links the minds of all of those who possess the necessary implants, becoming the only hope for humanity to rebuild and recover from the loss of AI. But Bethany Okoyé -- Peter's part-time lover/part-time rival -- remains leery of Peter's devices and isn't shy about making her opinion known. It is only when humanity encounters a global challenge unlike any other, that the two must find a way to work together to address a threat that could endanger the very nature of reality itself. With action, suspense, and thought-provoking themes, this science fiction novel explores the dangers of our reliance on technology and the possible consequences of a world without it, while also delving into the potential benefits and dangers of a mind-connected society.

'This is well-written, very funny and I raced through it, occasionally squealing in horror at the antics of Kate's colleagues. Kate knows she must address his petulant question: "Surely there's more to life than this?" but all her energies are required to dodge the corporate bullets constantly fired in her direction. Disturbingly, beige knitwear has started to call to her from the shelves of M&S. Growing more and more suspicious of her husband's activities, pressure builds on Kate both at work and at home until her turbulent year reaches its climactic end.
