Give Me To Drink: The biography of those who NEVER THIRST AGAIN... by Tanisha A. McDermott 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 3 hours ago

Man is three dimensional; composing of body, soul, and spirit. From these three constituents are derived the natural, carnal and spiritual man. The natural man is made up of flesh and blood and is guided by five senses - taste, sight, touch, smell and hearing - all of which prompts him to yearn after, what psychologists defines as, the five basic needs of life; food, clothing, shelter, safety, and love and belonging. There is no harm in desiring such commodities, however, it is extremely dangerous for man to assume that all he needs to survive are 'things' - This disposition completely erases God from the picture and replaces him with objects of idolatry! Mankind, therefore, must be awakened to the Spirit; whenever the spirit of man is made alive, through the word of God and the work of the Holy Spirit in his life, the carnal and the spiritual man becomes active. These two distinct parts yearn for their own fulfillment and place specific demands on the man that, if not fully comprehended, will cause that man to live in utter misery, confusion, and defeat. The confusion of this age can be seen in the futile and foolish attempts that many have made to find true joy and satisfaction - The result is a world filled with unhappy, empty and hurting souls; scarred from the wrong life choices that they made. This book highlights the only solution to a happy and fulfilled life; that solution is God! He knows exactly what you are thirsting for and he is able to eternally quench that thirst - Today, you have the liberty and privilege to make this awesome request of him; "Give Me To Drink". I assure you that you will never thirst again!

The Ministry of the Apostle Paul by James Thomas Lee Jr 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 4 hours ago

When this book was begun in late November 2013, the intent was to write a commentary on chapter five of Paul's letter to the church at Ephesus. But about fifty pages into that endeavor, it became clear that the book was not going in that direction. For one thing, his letter to that church had not even been mentioned in those pages. For another, the focus up to that point had been on Paul's missionary journeys. The reason for those problems was that the original intent had been to put his letter to the church into the context of his journeys. But there was so much to say about the journeys that his letter to the church had taken a back seat. So the title was changed to its current title, and the remaining efforts were applied in that direction. This book is a history of Paul's ministry. Great effort has been expended to try to date when and where Paul had gone. Then, at each stopping point, the more significant events of what had happened to him are shared. Most people would probably not think of him as taking five separate missionary journeys. But that is because the first one and the last one were not as carefully documented as the middle three. In the pages that follow, the reader will be able to clearly see those five journeys, plus his two separate imprisonments in Rome. Most people also have probably never attempted to put his writing of his thirteen letters to the churches and certain individuals into the context of what was going on in his life at the time. But this book has done that and has also dedicated space to trying to report what he was saying in those letters. For example, the person who reads this book will learn what Paul had meant when he wrote in Romans 1:20-32 that God turned certain individuals over to a reprobate mind. He or she will learn what Paul had meant in I Timothy 2:11-15 when he wrote about women being silent in the church. He or she will learn what Paul had meant in I Timothy 3:1-7 concerning men and women being involved in the ...

The Gospel of John: SCOT Kindle Edition by Stones Cry Out Ministries Stones Cry Out Ministries 5.0 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 4 hours ago

This Kindle version is offered to help Christians evaluate the SCOT Gospel of John text and gain more detailed information (for evaluation purposes). It includes many critical notes. (Many of the Kindle edition notes would not be appropriate for a Gospel that is used for evangelism, so they do not appear in this paperback edition.) The 2022 Giant Print paperback edition is now 14 pt. font (was12 pt. font), was produced by Stones Cry Out Ministries to fill a special evangelism ministry need. For mass evangelism, smaller, cheaper gospels are probably better suited because of their low cost. But in some situations, a nicer, Giant Print gospel may be worth the extra cost. For people who seem to have a genuine desire to learn about God and His salvation plan, the SCOT Gospel of John, Giant Print edition is perfect. Not only does it include a solid version of the Gospel of John, it also includes a concise summary of the Bible's redemption message after the gospel concludes. If God the Father is drawing a person to Jesus, the SCOT Gospel of John provides all the truth necessary as he or she transitions from the kingdom of darkness into the Kingdom of Light. The SCOT Gospel of John is a translation from the original Greek Byzantine Textform, sometimes referred to as the Majority Greek Text. It is a precise translation of the original Greek text. It is translated directly from the original Greek text. It is not a revision of a previous English version, nor is it a paraphrase. The translation is more literal, word-for-word as opposed to the thought-for-thought approach utilized in many other versions today. In addition to its main purpose of helping Christians evaulate the SCOT Gospel of John text, the critical notes alone justify the purchase of this Kindle version of the Gospel of John.

Missing - Caught Red Handed (Ryan Mallardi Private Investigations Book 3) by R Shannon (KDP) 4.2 Stars (104 Reviews)    Price verified 3 hours ago

REVIEWS: Christian Mystery Romance & Suspense Well written romantic suspense that has an ensamble cast facing real life challenges. The interactions between the characters makes for very interesting reading and the faith based foundation adds grounding to the story. I am not Catholic but found the perspectives of Fr Liam to be powerful and inspiring. - Goodreads DESCRIPTION: Two beautiful women go missing in Ocala, Florida. One of them, everyone seems to be looking for and the other one is reported missing by David Evans, who knows her for less than a month. Ryan Mallardi, PI, is hired to search for both women by different people and for different reasons. While his personal life goes upside down, through no fault of his own this time, he tries to turn it right side up again while finding the two women. Going on instinct, Ryan unravels the mysteries of why both women disappeared. Through intuition, wit, surveillance and some other maybe-illegal tactics, Ryan finds out where the women went, who's responsible for lying, murder and the coverup. SERIES vs. STAND-ALONE EBOOKS: This book contains enough history and background to be read as a stand-alone book. Each book in the series contains a mystery, crime or psychological drama that has a beginning and an ending. They are, of course, best enjoyed reading in order, as the character arcs and the family drama play out from book to book. If you like family sagas with a bit of mystery and intrigue, you will enjoy reading the Ryan Mallardi Private Investigator Series in order from start to finish. This book ends with a phone call about another murder that will become the subject of it's own story in Book 4, but it is not a cliffhanger. TRIGGER WARNING: This story includes the subject of domestic violence as well as a few violent scenes and this could trigger anyone having personal issues with it, so please be aware of that.

Lessons Learned from the Godly Kings of Israel by James Thomas Lee Jr 5.0 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 4 hours ago

This text was not written to show how much better the godly kings were than the ungodly kings. It was not written to try to show that God had loved the children of Israel more than the people of all of the other nations. To the contrary, this text was written to show that, in some instances, the godly kings did some things that were just as bad as any of the ungodly kings of Israel. It was written to show that the Lord loved the people who opposed the children of Israel just like He loved the children of Israel. The notion that He had showed special favor to one type of people over another is not scriptural. God has always loved all of the people of His Creation even if He has not always loved everything that they have done. He has also always loved all of the people of His Creation even when they have not loved Him back. So it is hoped that those truths will be evident to those who reads this book. In the pages that follow, four truths will be emphasized. The first is that the Old Testament saints were not continually indwelled by the Holy Spirit in the same way as the New Testament saints. That means that they did not have the same advantages in trying to live for the Lord. The second is that the scriptures do not and were not intended to share exhaustive details about everything and everyone within their historical presentations. That means that they might share a very negative event about a godly king, without trying to offset it with a positive event. The scriptures were written to show the Lord's involvement with humanity and to show people how to find Him. They were not written to say that the godly kings really were godly. The third truth, that will be shared is that all people are sinners. So one should not expect too much from the godly kings of Israel. The fourth truth is that they did not lose their salvation even though some of them did some pretty bad things. So with those few thoughts, it is hoped that the readers of this text will find it ...

Singled Out for a Miracle: Securing Miraculous Interventions in Extreme Situations by Christian Benjamin Price verified 8 hours ago

In real life, we are faced with several challenges, but, Irrespective of all of these obstacles like in the case of Zacchaeus, Jesus still singled him out for a miracle. Irrespective of all the challenges and obstacles against Blind Bartimaeus, he determined to get a miracle and against all the odds, he continued shouting until he caught the Master's attention. The same day, he got his miracle. Have you come to the point of desperation? Have you made an effort, have you done all you are capable of doing? Don't give up; you are about to be singled out. Read this story: A teacher so hated a particular Pupil in a school that she determined that nothing good will happen to that boy. Whatever her reasons were, she alone could explain. I do not know whoever it may be that may have decided that good things will never happen in your life or family, something supernatural is about to happen that will bring a total turnaround in your life in the name of Jesus Christ. Amen. Back to my story: On a particular day, some foreigners visited this school with the intention of selecting a few pupils they would give scholarship awards. On this day, the foreigners arrived, and all the children were asked to enter the School Auditorium where the interaction was to take place. As children, everyone wanted to be in front and because of that they created a very disorderly environment. As they kept pushing one another, the boy that was hated by the teacher pushed his way to the front. The teacher spotted him and quickly sent him to the back to make it impossible for that to be selected. Helplessly weeping, the boy went to the back of the class and became the last in that hall. As the guests tried to get into the hall, the pressure from the children could not allow them so from the back they asked everybody to "About turn". The hated boy became Number one now facing the foreigners, and that is how the boy eventually got selected against the expectation of his ...

Commentary on Romans by Thomas Bear 5.0 Stars (2 Reviews)    Price verified 4 hours ago

On the cover of this book is a picture of the ancient Roman Colosseum that still stands today. In its early years, many Christians were killed in the Colosseum while thousands of Roman citizens watched from the stands. Most likely, some of these Christian martyrs had heard the book of Romans being read to them years before they laid down their lives for Jesus. Paul wrote the book of Romans to help establish them in the faith and to prepare them for the day of their death. He warned them that unless they held fast their confession firm to the end, they would not inherit eternal life. Their willingness to die for Jesus in the Colosseum proved that their faith was genuine. Jesus and His Apostles taught that to inherit heaven, a person must be willing to lose his life for Jesus. The Christians to whom Paul wrote were serious. They knew that if they confessed and continued to confess their allegiance to Jesus, it could cost them their lives. Paul's letter helped them to count the cost and to learn gospel truth that could propel them to their ultimate goal of eternal life with Jesus. In the twenty-first century, many Christians assume that as long as they keep going to church and continue to hold tightly to the Apostle's creed, they will inherit heaven. They lack the sense of urgency and seriousness that can prepare them for intense persecution. The book of Romans can reignite their faith if it is properly understood. This commentary was written to show what it means to live by faith with a greater sense of urgency, just as Jesus and His Apostles intended.

Islam, the End-time and the Antichrist: Judaism, Christianity and Islam Deception Unavoidable (END-TIME STUDIES SERIES Book 12) by Prof (Dr) WA Liebenberg 3.8 Stars (8 Reviews)    Price verified 5 hours ago

Ask yourself these fundamental questions: ? Will any Jew accept a non-Jew who is not from the Tribe of Judah, to be the Messiah according to the TaNaCh (OT) prophecies if the prophecies distinctly call for Messiah to be from the Tribe of Judah? ? Can we then accept that the Jews will only accept a Jew from their Tribe Judah? Now note the following two facts: ? The Christians argue that the NT says the "very elect" will be deceived, and Matthew chapter 24 does not refer to Christians when it says "the elect will be deceived", no it is strictly pointing to the Jews as the chapter is known to be written for the Jews. ? Now listen to the profound statement Y'shua (Yeshua) the Jew made when He spoke to His Jewish brethren, "I have come in my Father's Name and you received me not, but another one will come and him you Jews WILL accept". This "another one" is a fake messiah that will appear in the last days. Now get this, Y'shua distinctly says His Jewish brethren will accept the "fake messiah". Can or will Y'shua lie? Absolutely not! Islam's prophecies also call for Isa, 'Jesus' in Arabic, to return. They claim their 'Jesus' must be a Jew and therefore must come from the Tribe of Judah, and he will be the messiah as stated by Allah. He will be coming with the al-Mahdi ("He who is guided by God"), a second person, to set up a righteous Islam world-wide. Can these two be the Antichrist and False Prophet for the Christians? This very short argument then demands the Antichrist to be a Jew who must come from the Tribe of Judah, and this Jew will deceive the three main Abrahamic religions, Judaism, Christianity (lukewarm believers) and Islam. This "Jesus" will undoubtedly fulfill all the prophecies of all three main religions as their prophecies, shockingly, are hair-raisingly the same. Now, with this mindset of what Y'shua said, and strictly thinking as Rabbis think concerning their expectancy for Moshiach to come from the Tribe of Judah, put your ...

Fed by Design by Glenni Lorick 5.0 Stars (4 Reviews)    Price verified 4 hours ago

The young mother gazes contentedly at her newborn son as he takes his first meal at her breast. The long day of traveling has taken its toll on her. As she looks up, her eyes meet those of her loving husband. He has been such a source of strength for her during the last months. Brilliant starlight streams through a chink in the rustic stable roof illuminating the beautiful baby as he stops suckling for a moment and looks up at his mother's tender smile. Mary treasures that moment and will remember it 33 years later when that dear Son is suffering on a cruel Roman cross. Breastfeeding was God's idea. He perfectly designed mothers to supply all of their babies' nutritional needs for the first few months of life. Although many how-to books exist to help nursing mothers, this is the first book to take a faith-based approach to every aspect of breastfeeding education and support. The author writes from her 27 years of experience as an International Board Certified Lactation Consultant working in both the United States and South America. As a pastor's wife she brings a deep understanding of the Scriptural basis for breastfeeding, and as a lactation expert, she adds a thorough knowledge of breastfeeding basics, problems and solutions. Each chapter begins with a key verse followed by a relatable story from a real-life mother. Useful tips abound for everything from prenatal preparation to first feed to weaning and relactation. Mothers who face special challenges will appreciate the chapter devoted to their situation. A chapter specifically for Dad as well as one written to the grandmother make this book even more unique among breastfeeding manuals. The final chapter focuses on the keys that help a mother be truly outstanding: unconditional love, a lifelong relationship of trust, and unceasing prayer for your child.

Righteousness, Prosperity, and Good Success (Life in Christ) by Joan Boney 5.0 Stars (3 Reviews)    Price verified 5 hours ago

If you delight in God and the Word of God and the things of God, I believe you will enjoy reading this book. God blesses HIS people and even frees us from following after money as HE gives us all that we need and will do so as long as HE keeps us on this earth. Jesus said no man can serve two masters. We cannot serve God and "mammon". So God made a way whereby we could follow after HIM, and still prosper and have good success. At the time I was born again, I owned a small business in Dallas, Texas. After I was born again, all I cared about was God and the church. I was completely changed. The greatest thing that has ever happened in my life is being born again. I no longer thought about my business. I had 3 competent women who worked for me and that made it possible for me to stay home and read the Bible. I used what I read in the Bible as principles for running my business. I didn't do this in order to prosper and have good success. I just wanted to do that which was right in the sight of God and as a result I prospered and had good success. I didn't follow after money, riches, wealth. I just followed after scripture. Jesus said: Seek ye first the kingdom of God, and His righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Matthew 6:33 Prosperity and good success are by-products of our seeking after the righteousness of God. That is what this book is about. Joan Boney

Crying Out in Today's Wilderness: There Must Be a Voice by Gene Easley 4.4 Stars (5 Reviews)    Price verified 23 minutes ago

We must hear what the Spirit is saying to the churches. He will speak through vessels that are dedicated to the cause of Christ. The lack of the church hearing from the Spirit comes, in part, from the silent voices of God's servants. We must hear what the Spirit is saying and convey the message to God's people and to the world. The songwriter said, "Stand up, stand up for Jesus, you soldiers of the Cross." We need soldiers again in God's army who are not afraid to lift their voices and to use the Sword of the Spirit to preach this everlasting Gospel. The purpose of this book is both to speak out in today's wilderness and, also, to encourage believers to draw closer to God. In some of the chapters, the reader is being encouraged to become that voice that cries out. In other chapters, the author himself speaks out and gives warnings concerning the day in which we live. Also, the message is one of encouragement to help us on our journey. May "Crying Out in Today's Wilderness" be both uplifting and challenging is our prayer.

Living In the Light by STEVEN BROWN 5.0 Stars (1 Review)    Price verified 48 minutes ago

The Bible is filled with references to light and darkness, highlighting the importance of living in the light. In fact, Jesus himself proclaimed, "I am the light of the world. Whoever follows me will not walk in darkness but will have the light of life" (John 8:12). As Christians, our ultimate goal is to live in the light of God's love and grace. Here are a few reasons why this is so important. Living in the light means living in truth. When we choose to walk in darkness, we are hiding from the truth. We may be afraid to face our mistakes, our flaws, and our sins. But when we step into the light, we are acknowledging the reality of our situation and seeking healing and forgiveness. This can be a challenging process, but it is essential for growth and transformation. Living in the light means living in freedom. Darkness can be a prison, trapping us in fear, shame, and guilt. But when we step into the light, we are set free from these negative emotions. We are no longer bound by our past mistakes or our current struggles. Instead, we are able to embrace the abundant life that God has promised us.

Spirit Hunter: Fictional story with true events that did happen... "Is there anybody there?" along with pictures. by Angela L Carr 4.0 Stars (5 Reviews)    Price verified 33 minutes ago

Have you ever felt a cold unexpected breeze pass you by? Have you ever heard your name whispered when no one was there? Have you ever seen a shadow but passed it off as your imagination? It all started at the early age of 10 when Joy felt a spiritual connection. There was no internet back then, so there wasn't much information she could find about what she was experiencing. All the hunts in this book are true reports that I wrote from each ghost hunt that I used a Dictaphone for. I listened back to and wrote up later. Names and venue names have all been changed, but the spiritual connection that was felt did occur. Will you be brave enough to read at night time before you go to sleep?

Chapter 1, Verse 1 by Tom Allen 3.9 Stars (20 Reviews)    Price verified one hour ago

The Book of Revelation is not about the destruction of the world. It is about the revealing of Jesus Christ in you. "Chapter 1, Verse 1" explores the manifestation of Christ within us by providing a verse by verse explanation of the symbolism found in the Book of Revelation. It explains how and why this last book of the Bible reveals the mystery of God, Christ in you. Here is the "return" of Jesus Christ, the one who said, "... I am with you always." Christ is revealed in us, to us and through us. Excerpt from 'Chapter 1, Verse 1': The scroll or 'little book' found in the right hand of the Lamb of God had writing on both the front and back of it. Interestingly, the paper of ancient times used papyrus reeds cut into strips and placed horizontally to dry. Once dry, more papyrus strips were laid at right angles and glued in place. Finally, after polishing, the paper was ready to use. Writing was done with the grain. When writing on both sides of the paper, as with the scroll, the writing on one side would be written at a ninety degree angle when compared to the opposite side, due to the grain of the paper. Whoever reads the scroll would have to, at times, turn it ninety degrees to understand it. The writing on both the front and the back of the scroll is similar to the way information about the revealing of Christ is given to us in the Book of Revelation. We have to look at Revelation from a different angle, a different perspective, if we are to understand its meaning. The Book of Revelation is like a stereo-gram picture, a picture hidden within a picture. On the surface, it paints an image of war, famine, death, and destruction. But when we change our focus, we will see the hidden picture, one of Christ manifested within his people.
